How to become a member

Ordinary Membership: Applicants eligible to become an Ordinary National Flavour Association member are exclusively national flavour associations from countries belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA). National flavour associations from countries that have applied for EU-membership are also eligible.

All applicants must respect the Association's Statutes.

Individual Companies who are a member of a National Association affiliated to “EFFA”, can apply for a Company Ordinary Membership.

Observer Membership: National Associations of the flavour industry that are located in one of the countries defined above and which are not Ordinary Members, may apply for Observer Membership.
An Observer Member can participate in the work of the Association but is not entitled to vote.

The commitments of an Observer Member are described in article 6.2 of EFFA's Statutes.

All applications must be submitted in writing to EFFA's Executive Board.
